• Overall chest expansion

• Symmetry
  • Patient should be in erect position
  • Grab the patient's hemithorax
  • Have patient take deep breathes
  • Stand both behind and in front observing
    • Lower chest
    • Upper chest
    • Apices
    • Anterior chest
