Graduate Handbook
Each graduate student receives a copy of the Neuroscience Graduate Program Student Handbook when they begin graduate study. The Handbook covers many issues of importance to students, including the basic administrative structure of Loyola's Graduate School, student responsibilities, the Graduate School's Statement of Academic Honesty and associated policies, guidelines for student conduct, guidelines and policy regarding student demonstrations, basic procedures followed in all graduate programs, financial information concerning tuition, financial aid, and graduate assistantships, information about health services and health insurance, grievance procedures, policy regarding racial or sexual harassment, policy on student records, a listing of resources such as the counseling service, library, academic computing, campus ministry, or recreational services, and student government. It also contains a policy statement on the Role and Nature of the Doctoral Dissertation.
All Neuroscience graduate students should read and become familiar with this Handbook.
