Loyola University Stable Knee Injury Protocol Study

PI:      Neeru Jayanthi, MD
           Vimarie Rodriguez, MD - Co-Investigator

The purpose of this study is to determine if there is a relationship between the amount of knee immobilization used with knee immobilizers after stable knee injuries and scores on a knee questionnaire that correlates with knee function.

Knee immobilizers are used commonly in emergency rooms and clinics, but have not been researched in knee injuries that are stable without a fracture.

This study is sponsored by Loyola University Medical Center.
