Welcome to Loyola Radiology

The Department of Radiology is a comprehensive academic and clinical department.  On the Maywood campus, it offers a full spectrum of imaging services, including conventional radiography, Computed Tomography (CT), Ultrasound (US), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Nuclear Medicine (NM). The latest in interventional techniques in the central nervous system, vascular system, abdomen, breast and musculoskeletal system are also available.  Conventional radiography, screening mammography, and US services are available at many primary care sites in the community.    

The department conducts an active research and teaching program including fully accredited ACGME residency programs in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine. 

Ongoing areas of clinical research include neuro-vascular intervention, liver tumor treatment, peripheral vascular intervention, CT and US.  The department conducts CME programs annually.  The department is fully integrated with a variety of medical student teaching programs through Loyola University's Stritch School of Medicine.
