Su-Min Kim, MD
Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Kim graduated Alpha Omega Alpha with a medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York. She then moved to Iowa City, Iowa where she served an internship in the Department of General Surgery and a residency in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (UIHC). She was eventually named chief resident. Dr. Kim then followed with a head and neck surgery fellowship, also at UIHC.
Prior to working at Loyola, Dr. Kim was a member of the attending staff at the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Hospital in Iowa City.
She has been the recipient of grants from the NIH Research Training Program for Otolaryngology and the American Society of Hematology Summer Research Fellowship and has received a number of honors and awards in medical school and in residency.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology and the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Kim has been certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
