Podiatry
The Podiatry section is active in patient care, research, and education. Podiatric physicians certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery provide diagnosis and treatment of foot disorders at numerous locations in the health system. The podiatric faculty is active in clinical and basic science research, with a record of numerous nationally recognized scientific publications and presentations. Educational programs include a clerkship at Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital for podiatric medical students, an approved 36 month podiatric surgical residency at Loyola University affiliated hospitals, and an Annual Seminar on Foot Disorders held every October co-sponsored with the office of continuing medical education. The Chief, Section of Podiatric Medicine is Ronald Sage, DPM.
