Typical Rotation Schedule:

PGY-2
(all rotations at Hines VA, except as noted)

  • 2 months inpatient rehabilitation
  • 2 months inpatient rehabilitation (Loyola University Medical Center)
  • 2 months inpatient spinal cord injury unit
  • 2 months medical rehab inpatient consults/EMG
  • 3 months outpatient musculoskeletal
  • 1 month cardiac rehabilitation/research

PGY-3
(all rotations at Loyola University Medical Center, except as noted)

  • 2 months inpatient rehabilitation
  • 2 months inpatient rehabilitation (Hines VA)
  • 1 month pediatric rehabilitation (Shriners Hospital for Children – Chicago)
  • 2 months outpatient musculoskeletal
  • 2 months outpatient/interventional pain (Hines VA)
  • 1 month inpatient rehab consults
  • 1 month sports medicine
  • 1 month elective

PGY-4

  • 2 months Traumatic Brain Injury (Marianjoy)
  • 1 month pediatric rehabilitation (Marianjoy)
  • 2 months EMG (Loyola)
  • 1 month chronic pain (Marianjoy)
  • 2 months senior musculoskeletal clinic (Hines VA)
  • 1 month “senior supervisor” on inpatient rehabilitation unit (Loyola)
  • 1 month geriatrics (Hines VA)
  • 1 month EMG/Rehabilitation (Hines VA)
  • 1 month elective
