Faculty members have detailed their research findings in numerous medical publications, including the New England Journal of Medicine. Faculty have published in 86 articles, 13 book chapters and been responsible for 120 abstracts of the past five years. Current research interests include:

• Quality of care for HIV- and non-HIV related pneumonias
• Management of urinary tract infections
• Infection control and antibiotic resistance
• Prevention of infectious diseases in vulnerable populations
• Infections caused by anaerobic bacteria
