Biomedical Sciences Graduate Students

One student chosen from each of the 7 Biomedical Science Programs and 5 Medical Students who have completed the 2008 S.T.A.R. Program will be selected for a presentation of 12 minutes followed by 2-3 minutes for questions.  These presentations will begin at 12:30 p.m. in Leischner Hall, Room 390 in SSOM.  The session will be judged and First, Second, and Third place awards will be presented at the banquet.  Judges will be student representatives chosen from each program.

Post Doctoral Trainee or Research Associates

Postdoctoral students are invited for 15 minute oral presentations from 9- 10 a.m. in Room 360, SSOM.  This session will not be judged

participants will be selected from the individuals indicating an interest on the abstract submission page.  All presenters must also present a poster.

Residents or Fellows

Selected fellows, residents and nursing graduate students will give 5 (4 +1) minute oral poster presentations from 10-11 a.m. in Room 460, SSOM.  This session will not be judged.  Participants will be selected from those individuals indicating an interest on the abstract submission page.  All presenters must also present a poster.

Medical Students
