Our Members
Twenty-two faculty
members participate in the research and educational programs sponsored by
the Research Division of the Cardiovascular Institute. This includes 9
CVI scientists with offices and laboratories within our state-of-the-art research facilities located on the 5th floor
of the EMS Building at the Medical Center. In addition, 13 faculty
members with laboratories located at other sites within the Loyola
University Medical Center's campus participate in CVI programs. The CVI
research faculty is currently comprised of members of 7 different medical
school departments (Medicine, CV and Thoracic Surgery, Physiology,
Surgery, Pathology, CBN & Anatomy, and Pharmacology &
Experimental Therapeutics).
