The overall goal of the program is to provide state-of-the-art research training for a select group of pre- and post-doctoral trainees who wish to pursue a career in the field of alcohol research. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conduct research in one of the several laboratories. For detailed information, see http://www.stritch.luc.edu/depts/arp/faculty.html. The members of the training faculty are independent investigators with strong research programs supported by extramural funding. Faculty and trainees meet regularly at bi-monthly seminars in which trainees and their mentors present their findings.
