• Mechanism of Action of G-CSF in septic models
• Mechanisms of neutrophil sequestration, and emigration during sepsis
• Pathogenesis of the multiple organ dysfunction syndrome
• The activation of white blood cells following trauma and burns. Correlation of white blood cell activation to acute lung injury and septic compications after trauma and/or burns
• The use of anti-inflammatory and pro-inflammatory strategies in sepsis, trauma, and thermal injury
