All Clinical Base Year rotations occur in the PGY-1 year and are completed prior to the beginning of the CA-1 year at Loyola.

The rotations will include:
4-6 months of Medicine
1-3 months of Surgery
1 month of ENT
1 month of Obstetrics
2 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit
1 month of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit

Anesthesiology residents will perform the same level of hands-on patient care and work as any other PGY-1 resident on the rotation.
